Support For Mission Trip to The Dominican Republic

This is our story:

We are a nonprofit organization consisting of multi-cultural members who are committed to providing a variety of services to underserved children. United Hearts of Mercy's primary focus are education and health care but we are not limited to extending services in the preservation of the environment and other essential necessities for day to day living. It is the desire and mission of our organization to meet these objectives via our vision statement. Poverty is hunger. Poverty is lack of shelter. Poverty is being sick and not being able to see a doctor. Poverty is not having access to school and not knowing how to read. Poverty is not having a job, is fear for the future, living one day at a time. In addition to a lack of money, poverty is about not being able to participate in recreational activities; not being able to send children on a day trip with their schoolmates or to a birthday party; not being able to pay for medications for an illness.  These are all costs of being poor.

United Hearts of Mercy is looking for to bring compassion and social justice to the world’s unprotected and poorest. We desire to provide tangible help that make real differences in the lives of sick and underprivileged groups. We believe that we are able to give hope and break the cycle of poverty for those in need.

There is a great need to extend a hand to one of our most valuable resources, our children. United Hearts of Mercy envisions an exceptional future for all children with the following “Vision Statement”. We see children without limits in what they can achieve with equal opportunity for all and with access to education, health, sports, and everything necessary for the development of their physical, mental, and professional well being.

United Hearts of Mercy is a charitable organization that helps to release people from spiritual, economic, social and physical poverty and enables them to become responsible and fulfilled society members in the Dominican Republic, Haiti, Africa, Ukraine, Canada and United States.

We aim to prevent the exploitation of children, protect the most vulnerable, and bring healing to children who have been exploited. Our organization supports programs that provide children with necessary products and services not provided or not enough by other organizations. We fully dedicate our time, skills and efforts to work with children, families, and their communities worldwide to fulfill the social, economic, and physical needs regardless of religion, orientation, race, ethnicity or gender.

From health to disaster response, we aim to integrate lasting solutions to the root causes of poverty and sharing God’s hope for a brighter future. We seek to promote the Total Health of the communities and serve through the identification, training, equipping, and supporting of community leaders. Our intentions are to build an extensive global infrastructure to enable us to respond where the need is the greatest, anywhere around the world. We collaborate with aid partners who employ a community-oriented aid strategy and who strive to increase the self-sufficiency of the poor.

For this mission trip we plan to: Purchase school supplies for children such as pens, pencils, notebooks, agendas, art supplies, as well as textbooks.

We also plan to provide the necessary supplies for teachers to offer quality education to their students.

This also includes desk and other neccessary materials.

We also plan to gift toys and clothes to youth living in the rural areas of the northern city of Puerto Plata.

This money will also be used to provide food and basic necessities for the families that need them most.

We thank you for your contributions.
